    Talking 1.9 Release Date Set!

Just thought I should mention this: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.9

"1.9, the first release of the Combat Update, is an upcoming major update to Minecraft with its release date set for Thursday, February 25, 2016."

EDIT: The date was pushed back to Monday, February 29, 2016.

If you need help, just ask. There are some limitations (a good example being asking for free stuff) to that, but I'm happy to help however I can.

Great reference for all the changes.

How long do you think it will take for all the plugins to be updated before the server can go over to 1.9?

Unsure if you're asking me or mark, but I think it'll be a month or two. I don't know how long it usually takes to redevelop plugins for new versions of Minecraft, but a month or two feels like a good estimate.

Anyone who knows, :P. I know nothing about plugins for Minecraft cause I either usually play completely vanilla, or with 100+ mods in a modpack, haha.

I'm very worried for this update. I think it's going to add more "cool" stuff rather then adding meaningful stuff
I'm looking forward to the reset more to be honest, especially Skaro

Happens every update, people complaining that minecraft will never be the same, too many changes, not enough changes, pointless changes, no one will play anymore (I dont like the update IE ie everyone will agree with me) People conveniently ignore the fact that every version of minecraft released is still available, no one is forced to upgrade or to use most of the changes if you do upgrade.

It shouldn't take too long for the plugins to get updated if the developer of that plugin is active, I am a bit worried about the abandoned plugins though.
